The Chef of Nobunaga: a captivating historical and culinary dive into the heart of the Sengoku period.
The Chief of Nobunaga is a historical title that takes place in Japan during the Sengoku period, a period of major transition for the construction of the country. In this adult and documented series, we follow the fictional journey of Ken, a cook of our time who landed by happy chance in 16th century Japan. This one will quickly find himself working in the kitchens of power since he will become the official chef of Oda Nobunaga, grand daimyô (feudal governor) and first of the three unifiers of Japan. It is therefore through the eyes of a man of today that we will discover the life of this time but also the corridors of power, since we will be alongside influential men from the land of the rising sun.

The Chef of Nobunaga is also a culinary title. Far from being a simple screenplay pretext, food has a real interest in this story. Ken finds himself in an environment he does not know and must satisfy Nobunaga's palace as well as those of his men and his guests. The gastronomy of the time will be revisited, reworked, rediscovered to surprise and delight the taste buds of influential men. Real narrative motors, Ken's dishes not only accompany Nobunaga's daily life, but also his decision-making, his political encounters and his battles.
