We follow the adventures of Zenos, a healer with exceptional healing powers, who is abandoned by a group of adventurers because of his low social status.
Indeed, he was born in the slums. One day, he will come across a young slave, an elf, who is about to die. He will then buy her back and take care of her and give her back her freedom. But the young elf will become attached to her savior and never leave him.
The two will then open a clinic together in the slums, because neither of them has the sufficient status, nor the money to open a legal clinic. And they will start to treat all the neglected, who are in reality mostly criminals and bandits, but will gradually attract the attention of the kingdom…
This is a pure fantasy manga, where unlike ordinary heroes who possess extraordinary offensive powers, our protagonist relies on healing magic and support spells.
Very often the use of his powers will lead to totally crazy comic scenes, like when he terrorizes a ghost because of his overpowered healing. We will also have quite a few action scenes in which our hero will be able to shine with his spells. The drawings are also clear and precise thanks to its author Junoichi Ten, who delivers here an incredible universe, filled with beasts and creatures of all kinds.
