Kioko Tominari, 16, discovers with horror that the boy to whom she had clumsily tried to declare her love four years earlier, will be in her high school at the start of the school year. She takes a very dim view of Tommy acting as if nothing had happened. Not to mention that he introduces her to his girlfriend who has only one desire: to become Kioko's best friend!
