Sôsuke Satô is sent to a parallel world to destroy a demon lord, while he is still only a middle school student.
After a long apprenticeship, he will finally succeed in defeating him and can enjoy his
glory in this other world. But after several years, he is suddenly sent back to Japan.
He is now 18 years old, unemployed and has only received a primary school education. He is unable to find a real job and has to make do with a small, unrewarding job.
But one evening, he witnesses a fight between a sorcerer and a demon, something that seems simply unthinkable in Japan. He manages to defeat the latter, thanks to his ancient skills from the other world and will find himself recruited into
a fight against demons.
"Dogs and braves are not showy" is a shonen with high-energy and dynamic fights, thanks to the overpowered skills that our hero acquired during his time in another world and the fabulous drawings of Hiro Hata. Here, it is not an "isekai" strictly speaking, but rather a "reverse isekai" where the hero returns to his original world while keeping his abilities from the other world.
Unfortunately, Sôsuke returns to Japan without any diploma or professional experience. His situation will be conducive to hilarious and crazy comic scenes present throughout the manga.
The story is not without remainder, either. A world organization of magic, just like schools of magic now exist in the world to secretly face the appearance of monsters on earth.
One wonders about the origin of these monsters. Where do they come from? What are they trying to do on earth? And one can't help but want to know more about this famous global organization of magic.
