The hunt for spirits is open!
Hyôma Kunato is part of an illustrious family of saenome whose goal is to help wandering spirits return to the afterlife. Because sometimes these spirits take shape by taking possession of an ancient object: the spirit then becomes a Tsukumogami. However, while some Tsukumogami are benevolent towards humans, others are malevolent. Thus, the task of the saenome is to send these spirits back either by sealing them in their container or by forcibly sending them back to the afterlife.
Still in training with his grandfather, Hyôma prefers to seal with death those beings for whom he has a deep aversion since the tragic death of his family members. But this resentment and this deep hatred displease his grandfather, the chief of the clan, who one day decides to send him to live with Botan, a young girl who cohabits in harmony with a group of pacifist Tsukumogami who come to the aid of Humans. by hunting down renegade Tsukumogami.
The missions during which Hyôma faces the evil Tsukumogami give rise to original fights where the spirits fight with the object that allowed them to take shape: katana, shears, coins or any other everyday object!
