Sara, a young woman suffering from an illness since childhood, wakes up one day in another world under
the features of a little girl. The reason for her transfer: she was born in the wrong world. In the new,
she must relearn everything, starting with surviving by learning the basics of magic. For this, she
can count on Nelly, the one who took her in and took her under her wing. But one day, Sara's benefactress
disappears and the young girl sets out to find her…
On the screenplay, we find Kaya, who is known at Komikku, with La Nouvelle vie de Lili. It is his
second novel (light novel), adapted into a manga by Mag Garden in Japan and of course now
in France with Komikku. Thus, the warmth and tenderness that emerge from the story, just as much as this desire
to live and enjoy the present moment to the fullest, are reminiscent of the pages of little Lili.
Here, the bond between Sara and her benefactress, similar to that of two sisters, and Sara's learning of the codes of
this new world are at the heart of the first volume. We follow the different stages with desire and a broad smile
of Sara to adapt to her new environment, whether it is when she learns to use a new
sort or cook with local ingredients. These learning moments are also conducive to
Quite comical scenes. Ayumu Okamura's cute drawings support the tenderness of the story.
But be careful, don't be fooled by the designs. The world Sara landed in is not
more tender. Monsters and wild animals abound and a single misstep can lead to death.
